Gotlands Slagteri - Branding & Restaurant Concept
Did you know that meat from Gotland tastes different from other meats because of the unique herbs that the animals eat? Neither did we. Until the Swedish meat brand Smak av Gotland asked for a rebrand.
We turned Smak av Gotland into Gotlands Slagteri. A meat brand that now stands for transparency, rawness and unique taste.

To enhance brand likability we proposed to launch a meat restaurant on Gotland, where the concept would be to eat your way through the slaughter process. Starting off by eating what the animals eat, to in the end eating the animal. Because, if Gotlands meat is so special and great - Why not be completely transparent about it?
The rebrand included a new brand identity, strategic positioning, copy tonality and a marketing/PR plan. And most importantly: a restaurant concept.
